Is it too soon to think about Feast Day?  I find the scheduling at work to be very flexible (too  flexible sometimes,) and might actually get to be there this year!

For those in or near the New Orleans area there is Pyrate Con 2009 from April 3 to the 5. It says it's the largest gathering of Pyrates in teh world and it benefits the City of New Orleans. It lists the following activities:  Voodoo Ceremony Wakes the Dead; Dead Pirate Ball in Haunted Ballroom; Living History Workshops; Swordfighting lessons; Saturday Parade down Bourbon Street; Piratical Vendors in multiple locations; Wench Auction (proceeds to benefit Greater New Orleans First Responders Fund); RUM TASTINGS. I realize that LARF is just over but I figured it was never too early to start thinking about the other fests.  Brother Shamus mentioned that there had been some talk about a trip to Scarborough and was wondering what everyone was thinking about that and if perhaps a date should be set.   So, is anyone planning (or thinking) about going? --Rabbit
